Catholic Audio for Kids Catholic Music Spotlight Interview with
Gerald Montpetit, Cat.Chat by Lisa M. Hendey
What do you get when you mix the Catechism of the Catholic
Church, the Bible, the Communion of saints, papal encyclicals,
and a talking cat?
No, this isn't some bad joke in the making - it's the recipe for
Cat.Chat, a Catholic audio show for families aimed at children
ages three to eleven years of age. From my own review of the
Cat.Chat CDs, however, I'd have to say that the appeal of ...

Every wonder why Israel was called "Gods chosen people"? No!
Well, from watching this tiny state of a little more than five
million jews in it, one would not think they are chosen of
anyone. There has never been a people that are more hated than
the Jews. There has never been a people who have been the brunt
of mass killing as the Jews. Now since 1948, they have had their
own land. But Israel is not even a member of the United Nations.
The Palestinian Authority who have been ...

At first glance you'd probably think I'm resistant to change. I
don't drink Starbucks coffee. I not a big Abercrombie & Fitch
fan. I'm still not used to women having tattoos. I'm not getting
an earring any time soon. The Palm Pilot craze has passed me by.
I can't take pictures with my cell phone and I still can't
program my VCR. My wife even says I still have the same haircut
I had when I was in fifth grade. I assume she thinks that's a
bad thing.
By all appearances you'd think I'm someone that ...

I dreamed this last night (Sep 22 05) (by the way, the Lord had
me read the story of Joseph yesterday..beginning at Genesis 37).
I was walking with my grandson and others through a two foot
deep crystal clear lake of water. I came upon a small creature
(similar to a crawfish) that was in my path. I tried to get him
to move, but he was working at getting something and he
persistently worked away. I went on but looked back, and saw the
little creature dragging a huge red and black snake by ...

Hey, sorry I haven't responded until now...I have been to South
Carolina. A friend of mine is there (we used to do ministry work
together..he'd sing and I would preach), and he called me to
come get some Bibles. He is renovating a big hotel, and he found
several cases of unused Gideon Bibles. I got him to sing a few
songs, "Crank Up the Music, Let's Have Church", and "Soul Filin'
Station". We had a wonderful visit and prayer time, I came back
and have already given away three cases of Bibles ...

The Two Most Important Commandments ' LOVE
By: Lara Velez
Love is mentioned well over 350 times in the Bible. I'm sure God
must be trying to tell us something. We will start our study
with Matthew 22:37-38; And He replied to him, You shall love the
Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind. This is the most important and first
commandment.
I am sure that we have all heard this verse many times in our
Christian lives. But, do we really get it? How do we ...

Americans repeat certain words with mindless ease without once
regarding their definitions, their real meanings or their
connotative meanings. Their use or perhaps their misuse is a
good reflection of the health of our culture or the lack of it.
Without including four letter words and expletives with the
exception of...love, you will not be able to reach the end of
this list without remembering that you have probably heard one
or more of these words today alone. If you do not recall ...

Whistling Misty
Connecting Erroll Garner and a Holy Meal
'The next time you put on a dinner, don't just invite your
friends and family and rich neighbors. The kind of people who
will return the favor. Invite some people who never get invited
out. The misfits from the wrong side of the tracks. You'll
be---and experience'a blessing. They won't be able to return the
favor, but the favor will be returned. Oh---how it will be
returned!'
